About Me
The Deep Thinker
Growing up I used to feel trapped in my own mind. I’ve always been a deep thinker, but living in my head felt like driving a supercar with bicycle brakes. For a long time, I thought this was a curse, until I discovered it wasn’t. The problem wasn’t the speed of my brain, it was the direction of the thoughts. My mind simply worked differently to most people and when applied correctly I could create new ideas, connections and possibilities that others couldn’t.
But this created another problem, as I needed a way to channel it.
Growing Up with Art
I found art at a young age, and it became the perfect outlet for my thoughts. I drew everything from portraits to tribal tattoos, gradually forming a style that combined hyperrealism with urban art. I often drew rappers, boxers and movie characters as they were entertaining, strong and disciplined, which was what I aspired to become.
Because the truth is, art was more than just a hobby for me. It was a way for me to deal with trauma from my childhood and teenage years. A way for me to channel pain into creating incredible looking work.
However, despite how good my work was beginning to look, I felt like it lacked deep meaning.
My Current Artwork
As my mindset evolved, I wanted to create art that made people think. I began embedding stories, emotions and meaning into my work. Philosophy, psychology and social themes naturally found their way into my art, alongside influences from hip hop and street culture.
This is where my work differs from the norm. Most artists draw “pretty houses and landscapes”, but my work reveals my mind. My work exposes the beauty and darkness of mankind. My work uncovers who we really are. So whenever you see one of my pieces, ask yourself: What’s the story? What’s the emotion? And what’s the meaning behind it?
My Vision
However, my vision goes beyond just creating artwork. I’m building a community of deep thinkers. A community of curious minds. A community of people who will change what art is.
